Jack and His Hammer

I don't know if someone screwed up during construction or if the next door neighbor just wants a moat around his house, but he has hired a couple of guys in suits to create a two foot wide trench around the very wide perimeter of his very large house. They are creating it with a jack hammer. They are jack hammering every morning beginning promptly at nine, seven days a week, no exceptions. Seven days a week includes Saturday and Sunday even here in Baku (which may be normal workdays for all I know) BUT I think every noise disturbed citizen deserves a couple of days relief every week, no? They can give me Monday and Tuesday, fine with me.

And because I promised in my last post....

We had to pay a dollar for the privilege of seeing what was under the blanket.
